Home is where the H.O.G.s play!
Inevitably from time to time some Harley-Davidson® dealerships are required to obtain new premises be it due to growth of a dealership, better exposure for the Brand or new ownership.
Such an undertaking of a massive move takes months of preparation and logistical planning. The end result is always astounding to see, changes in layout both inside and out when dealers celebrating these openings with flair.
Riders Digest took a sneak view of how two of our South African dealerships fared with their relocation.
Human Harley-Davidson Bloemfontein
Harley-Davidson Gold Rand
The new premises situated directly off the N12 highway on Atlas Road, Bardene, Boksburg, an extremely busy intersection providing massive exposure to potential buyers. There is ample and secure parking for visitors.
Unfortunately at times sponsored Chapters do not always find a ready home within the new premises and alternate arrangements have to be made to accommodate the members. Bloemfontein has been fortunate to receive a brand new Club House on site while Gold Rand found their new home at the Rugby Club in the mid town of Boksburg with ample space to parté at on H.O.G. nights and when the winter nips the fire hearth can be lit.
H.O.G. Gold Rand members gather every Sunday at 8:30am for 9:00 departure from the car wash behind the new Dealership premise.
